Reporters cry, producers die... Photo Credit: WWE.com Bobby Fish was officially written out of NXTV with an injury.  Unspecified on air since it's been only recently revealed is that the injury might keep him out until the winter. The Undisputed Era's Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole, BAY BAY ran in on what were to be the Dusty Classic finals between Pete Dunne/Roderick Strong and the Authors of Pain; as a result, William Regal made a triple threat match for both the Cup and the NXT World Tag Team Championships. The Era would complain about this later on to no avail. In advance of their match to be taped in the preshow of New Orleans tomorrow but aired next week as part of the usual leftovers show, Lacey Evans spent some time running down the entire division and her opponent, Kairi Sane, made relatively short work of Vanessa Borne. The promised hoss fight between Lars Sullivan and Killian Dain went to a ... let's say no contest when every other participant in the North Ameri...

SURPRISE Photo Credit: WWE.com Pete Dunne: comes out to a massive ovation You know how this ends.  And you're really going to try it? Roderick Strong: also comes out to a strong pop Try it?  This is the time I succeed at it. Both: grapple the other to a stalemate, go for their finisher and fail at it Pete: gets the advantage with joint manipulation, and is his wont, stomps the hand into the steps Roddy: Well, that sucked!  I'm not eating that twice.  counters another try at it and capture backbreakers Pete into the top part of the steps Good.  Pumphandle backbreaker! Penta El Zero M snapping arms and starting off this entry of the TWB 100 Photo Credit: Mikey Nolan The TWB 100 charges into the top half of the list today. But enough of me yammering in an introductory fashion. The list, it resumes now! 50. Pentagn, Jr./Dark/Penta El Zero M Points: 619 Number of Ballots: 10 Highest Vote: 11th Place (Mat Morgan) Last Years Ranking: 32nd Place Chris Gibbons: Like his brother, Pentagon can be a bit inconsistent in match effort, but holy hell is his peak incredible. The Cueto Cup to Ultima Lucha Tres was a phenomenal run for Penta in Lucha Underground, and he had plenty of great stuff for the American indies he frequented. His death match with Tremont in CZW was one of the best bloody spectacles of the year, especially considering that it was his fourth match in two days. Photo Credit: Mikey Nolan 49. Kenny Omega Points: 623 Number of Ballots: 8 Highest Vote: 2nd Place (Jeremy Carlile) Last Years Ranking: Not Ranked TH: He was in the top 25 of...

Is Dunne/Bate III on Full Sail's horizon?  Photo Credit:  WWE.com Last week on a ghost episode of NI60: Ruby Riot and Sonya Deville competed in the first ever "Winner (And Loser) Get Called Up Match", and Johnny Gargano somehow failed to take the WWEUK title from Pete Dunne. Street Profits: stir it up and gyrate, respectively Riddick Moss and Tino Sabotelli: get heat by being alive, more or less, which is actually a big compliment Angelo Dawkins: gets a couple of waistlock takedowns Small But Loud San Antonio Crowd: One more time!  One more time! AD: obliges Montez Ford: yelps happily from the apron , tags in in a bit and gets assisted on his standing moonsault Tino: blind tags in and lays him out Crowd: BOOOO Montez: nips up and lands a sweet dropkick, Angelo comes in to help him get rid of Riddick with the Midnight Express double flapjack, then back from the break soccer kicks Moss from the apron Tino: charges the distracted Ford and sends him into the barrier then grou...

The Era eked out the W to close a stellar show Photo Credit: WWE.com Results, stray thoughts, and takeaways Holzerman style from the Clutch City hosted iteration of Takeover just as soon as I note I was on the Patrick Clark Bandwagon half a year ago. .. Results: Lars Sullivan pinned Kassius Ohno after the Freak Accident side spinebuster. Aleister Black pinned Velveteen Dream following a Black Mass...but did say his name after the match. Ember Moon won the vacant NXT Women's World Championship and became the sixth different woman to earn that honor by pinning Nikki Cross after an Eclipse that also felled Peyton Royce. Andrade "Cien" Almas became the 12th different man to win the NXT World Championship, pinning Drew McIntyre after Zerlina Vega snuck in for a basement rana driver and he followed up with a rope-hung version of his hammerlock DDT. the Undisputed Era beat SAnitY as well as the team of Roderick Strong and the Authors of Pain when Adam Cole (BAY BAY) pinned Eric ...
