Why does Mania not have the luster it once had for some fans? Photo Credit: WWE.com It's Twitter Request Line time, everyone! I take to Twitter to get questions about issues in wrestling, past and present, and answer them on here because 140 characters can't restrain me, fool! If you don't know already, follow me @tholzerman , and wait for the call on Wednesday to ask your questions. Hash-tag your questions #TweetBag , and look for the bag to drop Thursday afternoon (most of the time). Without further ado, here are your questions and my answers: Why does Wrestlemania feel less special each year that goes by? George Gone (@george_gone) February 28, 2018 I have two reasons, one is more personal, one might explain objectively why Mania could be feeling less special by the year. I'm going to go with the "objective" one first. If you remember back to the WrestleMania events when you were a kid, the common theme was that they, with some exception, featured matche...

Year End Sorting Bins: The Creme de la Creme

Image
Two of my super-faves going at it on NXT Photo Credit: WWE.com The end of the sorting bin extravaganza is nigh. This is the final category, the top of the pops, the wrestlers for whom I come closest to obsession. All of them get write-ups because they're the aces, man. The greatest. The finest. At least for this year. Sentence fragment. Nikki Cross - SANitY is an incredible stable. Eric Young is a fine leader because the dude has them crazy eyes. Alexander Wolfe doesn't care about his own health or welfare. Killian Dain is exactly what one might think of if Godzilla took a human form. But the whole thing would just be another group of guys in the white noise if not for Nikki Cross. She brings that entire group together and elevates it. She's so kinetic and vibrant that it feels like if you took her away from not just SANitY, but NXT, the entire operation loses something. Whether it's the way she sensually gazes at Ruby Riotttttttttt, Tazmanian Devils her way down to ri...

Hash-tag your questions #TweetBag , and look for the bag to drop Thursday afternoon (most of the time). Without further ado, here are your questions and my answers: you've decided to give up meat, but once a year, when winter comes and it's dark at 4 in the afternoon, your willpower fails you and you sneak one meal with meat in it: what is the meal? ??'s Brent is Dead (@TVsBrent) December 6, 2017 I have a confession to make. I could  become a lacto-ovo vegetarian or even a vegan if I wanted to. I like enough food that I could cut out meat and be happy. However, speculate if you will a moment of weakness. I do get cravings ever...

Best Coast Bias: Life After Wartime

The Era eked out the W to close a stellar show Photo Credit: WWE.com Results, stray thoughts, and takeaways Holzerman style from the Clutch City hosted iteration of Takeover just as soon as I note I was on the Patrick Clark Bandwagon half a year ago. .. Results: Lars Sullivan pinned Kassius Ohno after the Freak Accident side spinebuster. Aleister Black pinned Velveteen Dream following a Black Mass...but did say his name after the match. Ember Moon won the vacant NXT Women's World Championship and became the sixth different woman to earn that honor by pinning Nikki Cross after an Eclipse that also felled Peyton Royce. Andrade "Cien" Almas became the 12th different man to win the NXT World Championship, pinning Drew McIntyre after Zerlina Vega snuck in for a basement rana driver and he followed up with a rope-hung version of his hammerlock DDT. the Undisputed Era beat SAnitY as well as the team of Roderick Strong and the Authors of Pain when Adam Cole (BAY BAY) pinned Eric ...
