The Wrestling Blog's OFFICIAL Best in the World Rankings for February 26, 2018

Braun Strowman has become Death, Destroyer of Chambers Photo Credit: WWE.com Welcome to a feature I like to call "Best in the World" rankings. They're not traditional power rankings per se, but they're rankings to see who is really the best in the world, a term bandied about like it's bottled water or something else really common. They're rankings decided by me, and don't you dare call them arbitrary lest I smack the taste out of your mouth. Without further ado, here's this week's list: 1. Braun Strowman (Last Week: 1) - Strowman didn't win the Chamber match but he pretty much made Roman Reigns' job easy for him. I mean, he eliminated an entire normal Elimination Chamber's worth of competitors last night. Technically, he should be given some kind of win, but you know the Monster Among Men isn't content taking technicalities. My guess is he'll go and level North Henderson tonight in retaliation. Or maybe just kick Reigns across ...

Trevor Lee giving MJF the what-for here kicks off today's TWB 100 entry Photo Credit: Scott Finkelstein Today, the TWB 100 will power on through to the halfway point. Enough yammering in introduction, the time has come to get to the actual wrestlers! 75. Trevor Lee Points: 477 Number of Ballots: 7 Highest Vote: 2nd Place (Brock Jahnke) Last Years Ranking: 48th Place Chris Gibbons: Lee is a wrestler who makes the most of every context hes in. Hes one of the few TNA/IMPACT/whatever its called now wrestlers I tried to keep up with in the ring because hes the X Divisions most consistent presence. Hes a great heel in places like AAW and PWG, and his impressive long title reign in CWF Mid-Atlantic keeps delivering. Lee probably doesnt get enough due for the work he puts in. Cox, right, along with Derek Barnett, helped lift the Eagles into the Super Bowl Photo Credit: Mitchell Leff/Getty Images Welcome to a feature I like to call "Best in the World" rankings. Fletcher Cox (Last Week: 4) - The Eagles are going to the Super Bowl, which I'm still trying to process, mainly because the defense once again came up huge. Cox helped lead a gigantic pass rush that rebounded after the Vikings marched down the field on its first drive and held them to zero points the rest of the game. Cox was a monster, breaking through double teams, swallowing up the running backs, and chasing Ca...

Reigns on the sauce? Photo Credit: WWE.com WELL, WELL, WELL, it's another week of wrestling, so it's another week of NEWS NEWS AND MORE NEWS. And who's here to deliver said news? THAT'S RIGHT, it's HORB FLERBMINBER, and I am BACK WITH A VENGEANCE. Everyone who disbelieved my news report on Randy Orton developing the gout WILL PAY. That means you, Todd Martin! And everyone who discredited me after I said it was John Cena who had a 13-inch penis when it was actually Rey Mysterio, THEY DID A RECOUNT, AND CENA'S HOG WAS 12.88 INCHES LONG, WHICH ROUNDS UP TO 13. So eat me. Additionally, you can follow me on Twitter, and hell, you SHOULD follow me on Twitter, @HorbFlerbminber . If you don't, I will hunt you down and explain evolution to your children. And if you're one of those sciency people, I'll explain creationism to them. I AM AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY OFFENDER. Also, you can order back issues of the newsletter. I'd tell you where to get them, but hone...

HELL YEAH Photo Credit: Ya Boy TH Welcome to a feature I like to call "Best in the World" rankings. Homemade Cheesesteaks (Last Week: Not Ranked) OFFICIAL HOLZERMAN HUNGERS SPONSORED ENTRY - You can get a decent cheesesteak anywhere in Philly unless it's one of the tourist traps (Pat's and Geno's both fuckin' suck, fam), but honestly, if you learn how to make one yourself, you're golden. I haven't really mastered the art yet, but my father has been making incredible cheesesteaks at home for years. Last night, he made them for dinner over my brother's, and let me tell you, t...

Lots of chatter about the women's Rumble Photo Credit: WWE.com So, Christmas is almost upon the world. Either you're at your office, whiling down time until you can take off, or you've taken off and are frantically shopping for last minute gifts. Either way, take some time out and read the good stuff. That's right, a whole lot of people are writing bomb-ass shit about pro wrestling. Why don't you settle down, pull up some of these here hyperlinks, and edify yourself before you go crazy from holiday fever? The YEAR END BLOWOUT is in full effect. Catch up with it here. [ The Wrestling Blog ] The women's Royal Rumble was announced Monday, and I had a few thoughts on it, mainly that Stephanie McMahon ruins everything with her bullshit pandering and framing. [ The Wrestling Blog ] Nick Piccone also has some thoughts about it, mainly that it's about goddamn time WWE has a Rumble match for its female competitors. [ Medium ] Mohamed looked at WWE's 2017 since it...
