The 2017 TWB 100: Meet Your Voters and Others Receiving Votes

Image
Darby Allin *just* missed the cut this year Photo Credit: Scott Finkelstein Hello, friends, and welcome to the rollout of the TWB 100 for the calendar year of 2017. The votes have been received and tabulated, and now the fun part begins. I will begin unveiling the list tomorrow, but first, why don't you sit back and meet the people responsible for putting this thing together, okay? While the voter count was down this year I received 23 ballots, down from 66 last year (yikes) the stock and quality of voters remained at high levels. Additionally, out of 23 voters, 15 submitted the full 100, which is an astounding percentage. To all who voted, pat yourselves on the back, for now you will be made known to the world. If you have any issues with this year's TWB 100, the people you'd take it up with are the voters, but if you have any problems and you wanna bother my pure, sweet Large Adult Sons and Daughters, please don't. They voted. You didn't. Anyway... TH - Pokm...

Year End Sorting Bins: Well, Sure, Maybe, I Guess, Perhaps

He can do good shit, but man, Ospreay just is a turnoff otherwise Photo Credit: NJPW website The next category in the sorting bins is "Begrudging Toleration." These wrestlers are as the bin name says, those I tolerate. I don't actively hate them like I do in the other category, but if they're on screen, well, I'm probably going for the other person. Will Ospreay - The shame part is that Ospreay is a pretty good performer, great sometimes. Every time I see him in the ring, it's like I'm watching the future of wrestling unfold in front of my eyes. That being said, the dude faves racist tweets, bitches and moans about people stealing moves that he borrowed three degrees from the original, and is notoriously bad at Twitter. Every time I wanna feel good about watching him, he give...

NXT In 60 Seconds

Who's one more (hopefully kick-ass) match away from being number one contender? Photo Credit: WWE.com Master Regal: Welcome to NXT.  With Drew McIntyre out due to injury, an opportunity has opened up in the #1 contendership to face our new champion, Andrade "Cien" Almas, in Philadelphia at our next Takeover. There will be four qualifying singles matches and then a fatal four way, the winner of which will get the title shot in Philadelphia. Tonight, the first two of those occur as Killian Dain faces Trent Seven and Kassius Ohno... well, he was supposed to face the Velveteen Dream, who is still injured.  But he will face a worthy competitor nevertheless tonight.  Best of luck to all the competitors.
